Handwritten or scanned files are strictly prohibited. No personal identity (name, ID, contact details) can be revealed. Three submission attempts are granted per course, with only the latest submission considered.

Recordings of live sessions will be available within 24 working hours in the respective course tabs.

The final Grade Sheet will display “Absent” , and the Final Degree Certificate will not be issued. A re-attempt is allowed; the student must re-register and repay the applicable fees in the next examination cycle, within the programme validity period.

For assignments, unfair means/malpractices (including exceeding the plagiarism limit) result in a zero grade. For exams (Summative Examinations), penalties for malpractice range from the performance in that specific course being Null & Void to the performance in all courses of that semester or exam cycle being Null & Void for repeated instances.

All submitted assignments will undergo a plagiarism check. The permissible plagiarism limit is 20% for theory-based assignments and 30% for numerical-based assignments. Assignments exceeding these thresholds will be considered an unfair practice and evaluated as zero. If plagiarized, the student is not declared as Pass even with an aggregate score of 40% or above.

Study materials include Electronic-Learning Material (ELM), E-Tutorials (digital pre-recorded videos), and Curated content as deemed fit by faculty. Course content is also provided in digital formats and recorded asynchronous videos.

For provisional admission due to missing certificates (MBA/BBA), failure to submit the original scanned copy on or before 2nd Semester results will result in the 2nd Semester results being withheld and the learner not being allowed to progress to the 3rd Semester.

If candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria, they will not be granted admission. If they qualify for other BU-CDOE programs, they will be informed, but must submit a new application and register afresh for the eligible program.

Provisional admission is granted pending verification of eligibility documents. For MBA, if the Degree Certificate is not available, the application may be cleared based on all semester UG marksheets and an undertaking letter. For BBA, if the 12th Certificate is not available, the application may be cleared based on all 12th marksheets and an undertaking letter. Original certificates must be submitted before 2nd Semester results.

If the fee is not deposited within the deadline, the admission may be cancelled and the seat offered to the next eligible candidate.

Domestic Learners – Passed XII standard from any recognised Education Board with minimum 60% marks (Class XII Best of 3 subjects score) and English as compulsory subject OR IB Board with minimum score of 24 credits, 3 Higher level and 3 standard level subjects.
International Learners – Pass with 55% aggregate marks in grade 12th/ A level or equivalent and English language requirement (ELR)

Domestic Learners- Passed Graduation in any discipline from recognised university with minimum 50% marks with English as medium of instruction
International Learners – The eligibility criterion for all programmes for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission into the desired programme.

Certificates & Records

Students must submit a Service Request via the Student Portal along with supporting documentation and payment of applicable processing fees. For transcripts for WES/similar services, the “True Copy (WES) Service Request” option must be used. For a duplicate, a First Information Report (FIR) and an Indemnity Bond on non-judicial stamp paper are mandatory.

The Grade Sheet and/or Degree Certificate will be delivered to the registered shipping address, subject to payment of courier charges. The online payment option for courier charges is available when raising the Service Request.

Yes, the mode of education will be explicitly stated on the front side of the Grade Sheet and on the reverse side of the Degree Certificate.

Examinations & Evaluation

Examinations are conducted online through a secure proctored platform, following the guidelines laid down by the UGC.

Yes, students with a permanent/temporary physical disability or a learning disability may apply for special needs accommodations. Accommodations for permanent physical disability/learning disability include extra time of 20 minutes per hour of examination duration and potential seating in a separate room. Students may also request approval to use a scribe.

No. Students are not permitted to resubmit assignments or reappear for Summative (End Term) Assessment in courses where they have already achieved the minimum aggregate passing marks. There is no provision for improvement exams for courses already passed.

Re-evaluation is permissible only for the Descriptive section of the Summative (End Term) Assessment. No re-evaluation for Formative (Continuous) Assessment, MCQs, courses marked Null and Void, assignments, projects, or internships. A fee refund is applicable only if a grade change occurs.

Yes, students must complete the system compatibility check and demo examination at least 24 hours before every scheduled examination.

Yes, Moderation of marks (grace marks) is allowed, with a maximum of up to 5 marks per semester and 3 marks in a course. Grace marks are awarded only to enable a student to meet the minimum passing requirement in a course, not for grade enhancement.

The Summative (End Term) Assessment may be conducted in two formats: Centre-Based Examination (at BU campus or designated centres) or Remote Online Proctored Examination (available via ‘At my location’ option). All are proctored by automated systems and human invigilators.

All submissions are checked through plagiarism detection tools, and cases of academic misconduct are dealt with as per university policy.

Results shall be declared within four (4) weeks from the date of the last examination held in a particular exam cycle.

Examples of misconduct include: Presence of another individual in the room, leaving the examination room during the session, use of external references or mobile phone, impersonation, sharing the screen, repeated disconnections, use of headphones/earphones, and partial face visibility on camera.

The Formative (Continuous) Assessment is primarily based on the submission of assignments. For a 2-credit course, this is one assignment; for a 4-credit course, it is two assignments.

Students have the following options to clear the backlog within the programme validity period: Appear for the Formative (Continuous) Assessment only; Register and appear for the Summative (End Term) Assessment only (previous assignment marks carried forward if not flagged); or Reappear in both Formative (Continuous) and Summative (End Term) assessments.

Students can apply for a re-exam window as per university policy by paying the applicable fee.

The assessment mechanism has three mandatory components: Formative (Continuous) Assessment (30% weightage) and Summative (End Term) Assessment (70% weightage)

Total time allotted for each exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes (2.5 hours). The structure is: MCQs (40%) and Descriptive Questions (30%), totaling 70% of the overall course assessment.

Academic performance is translated into letter grades on a ten-point scale

Students must achieve a minimum of 75% engagement in each subject to qualify for registration and participation in the End term.

The student must obtain a minimum of 40% marks on the aggregate of marks secured in both the Formative (Continuous) Assessment and Summative (End Term) Assessment combined. There is no individual cut-off for either component.

The University follows a strict zero tolerance for any form of academic dishonesty or malpractice. Penalties range from marking the performance in that specific course as Null & Void to marking the performance in all courses across the exam cycle as Null & Void for repeated offenses.

Examinations will be conducted twice a year. They will be administered across three designated time slots (9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m.) and will be primarily conducted on weekends, though weekdays may also be utilized.

Yes. MBA Online learners can exit after Semester II with a Post Graduate Diploma. BBA Online learners can exit after Year 1 (Semester I & II plus a 4-credit Skill Enhancement course) with a Certificate or after Year 2 (Semester III & IV plus a 4-credit Skill Enhancement course) with an Undergraduate Diploma.

MBA Online duration is 2 Years. BBA Online duration is 3 Years.

MBA Online validity is 4 years from the date of admission. BBA Online validity is 6 years from the date of admission.

Student Conduct

Faculty may expel students for inappropriate behavior; admission may be cancelled in severe cases. Students are prohibited from: keeping/using a communication device, notes, books, smoking, eating/drinking, and communicating with another student during the examination. Proper dress code is required, and students must refrain from eating, talking, sleeping, lying down, or using profane language.

Ragging of students in any form is strictly prohibited inside and outside the campus. The University maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, and stringent action will be taken.

Sexual harassment, whether on campus or outside, is unlawful, unethical, and will not be tolerated. The Sexual Harassment Committee (ICC) is in place.
